Interesting change to the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow rather than the Hydro. Only 2400 capacity vs 13000. Might be tempted.
Same sort of thing in Birmingham. They haven't left a lot of space to add "second nights", either. I can't remember where they played there last time they toured.

Not seen Quo for a number of years but I think I may go to the Cardiff gig next winter.

The last one in brum would be NEC, the year Rick died. They went ahead with the tour as advertised with Rick on it then he retired. I asked for, and got my ticket money refunded. Have'nt seen them since.

(I always thought the NIA was smaller than the "NEC" "Now called by yet another name" (They really don't want people to find it) but I see they are about the same size.

To be honest what would you prefer. A sold out 3000 or a third full 12000? I went to see quo at Newcastle arena c96. It was half full then and just creates a vacuum like atmosphere.

Hammersmith standing with no seats would be interesting..could i be tempted..possibly..said i would never go again as Rick was gone..feels odd even thinking about it..just wish they would add a few more after 85 tracks which would seem more relevant to present band members whilst still playing the main hits to keep the new gig goers happy. They are all seated. Including Hammy.

In my time Hammy was always all seated. The Reunions were the only ones different. Oh the modern world!
PS I did standing for one of those, and it wasn't a great (environmental) experience - a big crowd squashed into a small space. I admit I was at the back ... Funny, crowds at festivals don't really bother me.

I had a notion that might happen. They have more power than the fan club. We got tickets we were happy with, since I'm not looking for front row, but they could be better.

I've just purchased 5 tickets for Hammersmith 5/12/2020 through Eventim. I didn't get any joy through the main Quo website link or then Ticketmaster either, so tried Eventim and got stalls. Shame it's all seated, hey ho, still a great venue for gig. Looking forward to it and hoping for a great night!!!

Eventim own the Hammy now don't they? Must remember that, it can make a difference.
