Right! I think this time we've got all the stars properly aligned for an epic release.

Mystery Medley [Sheffield Arena] Rain [Sheffield Arena] In The Army Now [Glasgow SECC] - [Will be using the Brum audio for the final release as far as I know] Down Down [Glasgow SECC] Roll Over Lay Down [Glasgow SECC] Let's Work Together [Glasgow SECC] Little Lady [Birmingham NEC] Whatever You Want [Birmingham NEC] Rockin' All Over The World [Wembley Arena] Burning Bridges [Wembley Arena] Bye Bye Johnny [Wembley Arena] This has changed a fair bit... for the better! Everyone, that's a fan of this line-up, will enjoy this release Do you mean they’ve decided to add Paper Plane, Price Of Love and Anniversary Waltz? I’m actually well looking forward to this release. Any idea roughly when it may get released?

I’m actually well looking forward to this release. Any idea roughly when it may get released? well, Rain was dropped in the end because it wasnt licensed for use. Theyd accidentally left it on the end of Mystery Medley... However, you are spot on... Sheffield; Paper Plane Price Of Love Rain Wembley; Anniversary Waltz Have now been added to the tracklisting to give us a full set. In total 6 new songs unreleased from that day, those 4 with Let's Work Together and Army. It took me to convince them to contact the licensing dept. to get those tracks, but it happened! No rough date for release yet, could possibly be next year so it can be released with PR and TW deluxe sets so they can release it as the usual sets of 3. Cheers

But I’m glad your getting a special ed or whatever it’s called with stuff you want on. These have so often been rubbish and fleecing loyal fans.

www.freewebs.com/quolive/Seems I misremembered some things, but whatever. It seems the song was in the set in late 1991 and early 1992, then dropped, then came back in late 1993 and stayed until the end of 1994! It's clearly mentioned on the Blackpool gig, the last time they played Like a Zombie also, but the best version available should actually come from Madrid 1992. Would love to know who the owner of the site is / was. Emailed them ages ago in hopes to some boots off of them, but they replied saying they don't do trading anymore, and that was it.. Which gigs are you looking for ?

You are right, quite often previous bonus material has bee of really poor quality but the promo on YouTube has really whetted my appetite. Plus, getting a rarity like the Price of Love will be interesting to hear

Which gigs are you looking for ? It's more so the rare stuff I'm after, like; Sydney Hordern Pavillion 20.11.74 (5) SBD... which was released but Roadhouse was split into 2 tracks, stupidly The Fighter 1987 (Early Mixes of the Ain't Complaining Album) Top Of The Pops 2nd May, 2000 (Tracks without Steve Wrights Commentary) The One And Only 4th July, 2002 (Incl. unbroadcast tracks) and the sound checks from '84-'87

I'm glad you're looking forward to it I emailed them last night in regards to adding those last 4 tracks that were left off, because they had plenty of time to license them... heard back very early this morning saying it couldn't happen, and then not long after I heard back again that the licensing dept. gave the all clear! I am very pleased with how it's turned out so far, and *Fingers crossed*, a lot of Quo fans will be

Cheers That’s great news cheers I don’t think I’ve ever heard a full version of price of love, not even a bootleg audience recording, only the little bit on the end of roadhouse medley so looking forward to hearing it. Great job 👍

Great job 👍 It was the only time they played it live, in full... whereas Let's Work Together remained in the set for a short period after the RTYD event. So now Disc 3 will be packed full of live material; --------------------------------------------------- Paper Plane [Sheffield Arena, 21st September] Price Of Love [Sheffield Arena, 21st September] Mystery Medley [Sheffield Arena, 21st September] Rain [Sheffield Arena, 21st September] Rock 'til You Drop (Stage Tape) [Glasgow SECC, 21st September] Down Down [Glasgow SECC, 21st September] Roll Over Lay Down [Glasgow SECC, 21st September] Let's Work Together [Glasgow SECC, 21st September] Little Lady [Birmingham NEC, 21st September] Whatever You Want [Birmingham NEC, 21st September] In The Army Now [Birmingham NEC, 21st September] Burning Bridges [Wembley Arena, 21st September] Rockin' All Over The World [Wembley Arena, 21st September] Anniversary Waltz [Wembley Arena, 21st September] Rock And Roll Music / Sweet Soul Music / Bye Bye Johnny [Wembley Arena, 21st September]

Can't wait for this Deluxe Edition. RTYD was always one of my favourite, even though I don't like the sound that much, compared to others. Sounds too compressed and the EQ could be a bit brighter, although I'd bet the mix is the problem; the cymbals (especially the crashes) are far too low/at the back.
From the clips uploaded to YouTube, this one seems to have a bit less compression (even though it's still noticeable on Mysteries From The Ball) and the EQ is a little brighter, which makes it a bit better, but, again, I'd say the mix is the problem. Just my opinion.
The live stuff seems great! This line-up was my favourite. Lots of power and emotion. Jeff really understood the songs he was playing. Again, my opinion, don't crucify me! Can't wait!
