Good read Viv, but you will have to let the 'O Baby' fixation go. Maybe you could ask John & Alan at Minehead in September.

QPQ, really? I thought he was hyper-critical about that one! I would've guessed him to mention ISOTFC of the later albums...

Your first Quo gig Viv was, The Great Music Festival, Olympia New Years Eve 1975, so you would of heard, 'I Saw The Light', live for the first time and the track was dropped for the Blue For You tour '76. I think your mixing this track with 'O Baby'

I think your mixing this track with 'O Baby' Ah that's great that I heard ISTL live! But I only really knew the singles at that first concert..... I know OB was at a later one as my sister (not a Quo fan) said to me "well that one was different" and I said "yes it is one of their album tracks".

By the way, I asked John at Putney a couple of years ago and he thought they might have but couldn’t really remember. I’ll try and ask Alan and Bob at the convention!

I would imagine being totally solo on stage would be terrifying if you've never done that before. I speak as someone who once, many years ago performed a one woman stage show. A curious guy asks what did that consist of? Or is that too personal?

A curious guy asks what did that consist of? Or is that too personal? I wrote a monologue about a woman who was a playwright during the Restoration period. It was about 2 hours long plus an interval. Being on stage was actually okay because the audience were interested in the story but coming off afterwards, and no fellow cast members to share the experience with was hard. Ditto waiting to go on before it started. Some years later I would have an anxiety dream that I could not remember all the words and had to perform the show. I still wonder how I managed it back then but I did. I supposed I really wanted to do it.

Went last night to Dartford. Was ok but the whole thing felt very rushed and the question section from the audience was complete bollox.Certainly not aimed at serious Quo fans. And the coronation street section FFS Cheers

Went to Exeter a couple of weeks back, and to be honest, although since the FF Reunions/RP Death I'd not been the FR Fan I once was...you can't help but love him, really enjoyed the acoustic guitar parts and the general chit chat, not sure (like others) why the Coronation Street story had such importance (Balance of the overall show??) but the Rick end of life story was very heartfelt and moving, overall enjoyable and different, the Q&A section was predictable I suppose, my FF Reunion and aftermath question wasn't selected...
