I thought his second name was Lancaster rather than Leicester? Can you re-upload it mate? I missed it! I'll stick it on YouTube if that's OK. Where is it from originally? Cheers.

Thanks, very interesting and sad too. 'They all wanted to do things their own way....' It seems that they always had their own preferences but somehow they managed to merge them together in the early days, and in doing so created the Quo sound that was unique. Shame they couldn't just take a break as has been suggested before.....

Wow, really interesting to hear this gav. Thanks for reposting as I'd totally missed this first time around. Yes it is sad but also very honest and fair. I smiled wryly to myself thinking, "yep, that's why it was Alan that was forced out." He was saying what they didn't want to hear. And yet he's been portrayed as the difficult one.

Thank you for this! Great interview... talking openly about money and managerial issues / problems. No wonder the higher ups wanted him gone. Could listen to Alan talk forever about Quo... same goes for Rick

Could listen to Alan talk forever about Quo... same goes for Rick I’ll echo that , and add , I would rather pay to listen to Alan talk about his life than Francis .
