It’s a ‘great’ album. I accept I haven’t heard it all. But great. The word is so devalued these days.

"although Rick had finished recording all his guitar and vocal parts, some of the tracks remained uncompleted at the time of his death, so a collection of talented musicians including Queen legend Brian May and Muse's Chris Wolstenholme with input from his eldest son Rick Jnr as well as Quo cohorts John "Rhino" Edwards and Alan Lancaster, all helped to make this record as complete as possible, in a lasting tribute befitting his status"
Not really his album then.Bit like the Hendrix albums that you can get.

That's three bass players then.
"Over and Out", I like that, even with a bit of flannel on it. It's straightforward and poignant and sounds like Rick. It lacks any good guitar, sadly, there is room for some at the end but just a bit of stock orchestration. But hey.
I haven't really heard anything else that appeals to me but I will listen to the tracks when they are all out. Pissed that the "unfinished" version will only be available on priced-up collectors' editions.

The "unfinnished" version will be available as separate vinyl, same price (more or less) as the official version😊
