I don't get why they couldn't have just done a modern day version of the original video... simple black and white shot in a dark lit studio, with washed out shots of soldiers... the whole performance in front of the army is a bit cheesy.
They got it right with the original... Serious, moody and effectively shot video

I haven't seen the outtakes and wish you would simply stop slandering and insulting people in public. But I do agree with you that the video was not particularly good. The scene where the tank shot at the viewer was horrible. It's my opinion that Keeling is crap at his job. It's not slander. Anyone who defends their creative work by telling the accuser to "say that to his (the corporal in question) face" IS an imbecile. The impression the individual per se left at the SQUIMBY was.... not too many years in higher education.... or too close a contact with strong fluids.... imo.

The promo for ITAN 2010 was really crass and too lighthearted. Compare it with the "outtakes" cut and you'll see how poor a producer he is. And it looked as if it was made using Windows MovieMaker. Really cheap. His excuse? "It wasn't right that a charity video had a big budget", words to that effect. He also invited me to have a square-go with his corporal mate who featured in the video. I haven't seen the outtakes and wish you would simply stop slandering and insulting people in public. But I do agree with you that the video was not particularly good. The scene where the tank shot at the viewer was horrible. Thanks for your concern. deepthroat's original comment and this quote of his post have now been modded.

Seriously looking forward to the release of 'Over and Out' and avoiding any early listenings of the tracks posted here, there and everywhere on T'Net...pre ordered the Box Set but as with back when FR did his Solo Tour I (somehow) managed to avoid looking at his set list, and enjoyed it more, so I'm applying the same theory to the New album (If you catch the drift) I did however 'cave in' when the Frantic Four Toured in 2013...just couldn't help myself in the end...I will be stronger this time!

I perfectly understand what you mean Triggsy, I managed to avoid the internet for weeks before my first Frantic Four gig in 2013. I didnt have a clue what was going to be played when the gig started and it was an absolutely fantastic experience - 90 minutes full of lovely surprises!

I reckon if someone had played songs like Without You or Sail Away to Rick and Francis in the early 70's they both would have smirked!
Though Rick is not trying to be Quo or sound like Quo in this solo album. Its completely different to Quo.
But Sail Away isn't Quo either.Yet it uses the Quo name. There is a right way to do things. Rick has done it the right way!

Listening to those few bits of the songs I’m really not excited at all by it.Ok it’s sad that Rick is no longer with us but on the material presented so far it’s just sub standard average rock music. Certainly won’t be rushing out to buy it just coz it’s Ricks posthumous release. Now,the PLC stuff if it sees the light of day is something I’m far more interested in. Rossi is to blame IMO for not wanting to record any further stuff with Alan John and Rick and signing off the band in that way.A golden opportunity was missed. It would have been a much more fitting tribute to Rick in the circumstances that followed Cheers

I've had "The Band's Mix" on loop for some time now and finished writing my magazine review. Let's be honest, it was a very difficult job to remain impartial while listening to the words of someone who knew he was on borrowed time. Let me just say, that although Rick's involvement in the album was necessarily limited, it's way better than I ever expected it to be. Everyone involved has done an excellent, respectful job.

What is the band mix of Halloween?
