I wasn't sure how a track called Twinkletoes could be taken seriously but it's still ok, albeit my least favourite out of the clips released so far. But still looking forward to the finished article coming out.

The more bits and pieces I hear the more I’m looking forward to the album. Me too. Even if it gives us only a couple of 'belters'.

I would need to hear a better version and although this may sound strange...but I hear both a bit of ZZ Top and Elo in it like they were around 1982-1983. And yes what a knob for talking through the solo... I was thinking it has a bit ELO in it too, sounds good to me. Can't wait to hear the whole album.

Don't like it.
The chorus is lazy.
Reminds me of Temporary Friend at the start then, yes, ELO... particularly Quo's cover of Don't Bring Me Down.

I think there are a lot of rose tinted glasses going on. If this was a Quo song it would be largely roasted as the pish it is.

There's some interesting stuff going on in the background that's hard to hear in this ripped version, good guitar solo, hmmm, still not sure.

Thats just the point though isnt it - its NOT a Quo song & not intended to be its Rick Parftitt solo so therefore there was always gonna be some different sounds going on

I dont know if it was or was t. It sounds just like the rubbish they peddled in the late 80s / early 90s.

Each to their own mate, ive listened to it for what it is a track on Ricks solo album dont know & frankly dont care if its a an old Quo demo though if i was guessing i`d say no just my opinion as is the fact i like the song.

Hard to be objective when we've been starved of any genuinely fresh and exciting new Quo-related product for so long. Or is it?

Well, it is a very simply structured run of the mill rock song but i am liking it the more i listen to it and accept it for being just that - a simple, typical RP rock song. It does sound kinda groovy though and can imagine pumping that through the speakers at full volume and bopping my head to it. I enjoy it for the fact it has balls and is not a watered down Quo pop song.
