The album where the awful cringeworthy corny lyrics/keyboard/backing singers crept in along with everything else that separated the mighty QUO from the quo that was to follow . It was a album to hide from your none quo mates back then that's for sure ! Totally agree....the song 'Oh what a night' was the only decent one imho.

Not a good song. Also they ripped themselves off with this tune and it turned into whatever you want a year later.Don't pretend it's not.

A big thumbs down for the full album, and id imagine John and Al thought the same . Lancaster wrote two of the worst songs on the album, "Stones" and "Gonna Teach You To Love Me" AND said at the time that "Accident Prone" was the best thing they ever did - so he was happy with it. Life is good through nuff coloured glasses. He still thinks Accident Prone is great. Even named it in his top 5 Quo songs recently As a matter of fact, Francis has even said on occasions that he adores the track and thought it would "change the world" Maybe those glasses he wears are Nuff tinted aswell?

Wait a second! It has probably the finest Quo track ever! Where the band had reached ‘peak hair’ as well! Can you guess what it is? Never mind that, I love Stones... Stones is a great tune! Feels great saying it publicly for the first time ever. I've just come out of the Stones closet. Merry Christmas! 😊

Wait a second! It has probably the finest Quo track ever! Where the band had reached ‘peak hair’ as well! Can you guess what it is? If any performance by Quo says COCAINE then it's this one! Posturing through the roof, legs spread, tossing of hair, the sexy shoulder movements, the rugged beards. "Look at us, we fancy ourselves a bit. Have a w@nk on us!". My guess is they'd not long discovered it, and this track/video looks a bit over-confident to say the least. Mind you, i've had a few lines tonight and i'm laaaaaaaving it.

Oh What A Night is for me the stand out track from a very sub standard album. In 1978 they really needed an album that would stand along side the classic ones as popularity was fading due to other music interests eg Punk, New Wave, the forthcoming NWOBHM etc. I really hated Accident Prone at the time but now bizarrely I really like it!
