Another forgotten Quo track which popped into my head this morning. Who needs Spotify when I've got my own internal juke box. Good to hear Rick singing on this one. And there's Frame's familiar guitar sound.

One of the better tracks off the album imo, I don't need Spotify either CG.

Yeah I know... sound like cranky ol bugger but they were well down the slippery slope by then and this song is just another ‘Quo by numbers’ to me. Just another of the albums I bought after RAOTW where I played maybe thrice before throwing them with the others.

A big thumbs down for the full album, and id imagine John and Al thought the same .

Wait a second! It has probably the finest Quo track ever! Where the band had reached ‘peak hair’ as well!
Can you guess what it is?

Good song from a poor album. What's John Eden doing for the moment?

Good song from a poor album. What's John Eden doing for the moment? Not poor album at all to me. There are 6 or 7 good to very good tracks on the album. Yes no where near other albums but far superior to anything they have released since ‘85. Accident Prone to me is one of their great singles. In fact possibly their best, that they didn’t write.

And there's Frame's familiar guitar sound. Sorry, the guitar solo sound on this record is not my favorite. But as you said, this is still one of the better tracks.

Its not really one of mine but the tune popped into my head out of the blue and so I posted it. Amazed at how deeply imbedded these albums are as I haven't listened to the album in years.

A big thumbs down for the full album, and id imagine John and Al thought the same . Lancaster wrote two of the worst songs on the album, "Stones" and "Gonna Teach You To Love Me" AND said at the time that "Accident Prone" was the best thing they ever did - so he was happy with it. Life is good through nuff coloured glasses.

The album where the awful cringeworthy corny lyrics/keyboard/backing singers crept in along with everything else that separated the mighty QUO from the quo that was to follow .
It was a album to hide from your none quo mates back then that's for sure !
