Well, the first tour spud wasn't quite up to scratch... but they only rehearsed for two pissing weeks WHEREAS the final (second) tour he fucking went out like the madturk we all know doesn't have the stamina... utter bollocks!
Rossi even said HIMSELF at the time that spud had lifted his game

Anybody falling for his answer to question 2 . Heaps of emails and letters ...........really ? . Some may remember me on the old board[ Live Aid Boy ] after the Dublin gig , trying to get fans to email Duroc to show our support for more reunion tours . Not sure how many emailed , but I think the reply , 3 / 4 months later , was a polite no due to insufficient demand . Yeah... It's a load of crap. If the acoustic tour had been selling well then it would have gone ahead. Saying that fans forced the change is just one of the many laughable reasons used by management to try and flog tickets. I still don't get why the tour was announced at all. Aquostic II flopped and there wasn't that high a demand for the first acoustic tour. None of this "it was to protect Rick" nonsense. Rick had been dead for FOUR MONTHS when the tour was first announced. Quo could easily have went with an electric tour from the off.

I think Rossi has really become bitter after the reunion tours.
for 30 years, he and Rick were both going out and saying that the newer product was better than the original... but now we had Rick saying he preferred the heavier Quo compared to Quo-Lite, saying how a drastic change in set has made him really enjoy playing again and he looks forward to every song.
Basically finally fighting back against Francis.
You had arenas selling out, actual demand FROM FANS for something for once in god knows how long...
and pretty much just the realisation that his version of "Quo" (Light) has failed

That is the point after the first FF in Manchester 2013 the 30 Years of Lite Quo were forgotten and this is still hurting for Francis until today.

The only reason he comes out with crap like that is because he knows there will be a reaction to it. Grade A shit-stirring.

Gillie Coghlan posted this comment on Facebook: "Er halloooo?! John certainly DOES have the stamina thank you very much as he proves constantly with JCQ ...."She commented on the FTMO Facebook post linking to the article:
That was definitely going to happen, it was just a matter of holding your breath and going one, two, three GO for it Gillie!
Fran will fool the public, but not anyone who's been following ... or maybe that is just how he sees it. Clearly not how Spud sees it, though.

Just the usual stuff and the blame game from Frame - “when there was a problem/lack of agreement, it was the others who were wrong/unwilling - it was never me”
Good songwriter ( in his earlier days ), good guitar player, admired for his achievements - an idol to many ( including me ) in past years……..
– but evidently ruthlessly self-serving, a control freak, self-praising and obsessed with his own self-importance....who surrounds himself with underlings who have little option but to dance to his tune…
.....and that only perpetuates his self-indulgence and his illusion/fantasy that the present day Quo are important, adored, better than ever etc etc ….

Come on now Rossi this is just getting stupid, you just can’t admit how great the reunions really were because it will undo everything you’ve done in the past 30 years with CQ. The fans knew how good it was,Alan John and Rick too. But to now say that about JC,I really didn’t think there was any more shite left for you to say Cheers

Yeah its a fair interview overall. There is interesting answer to a question that people dont realise its an electric tour. I think he and the management are deluded and think this is the reason for sales being down. Also he talks as if they change the setlist all the time and only keep the hits. Very odd I think that has a lot to do with it. I'm a case in point - if they had gone for a regular presale as an electric gig, I would almost certainly have bought two tickets (spluttering as usual about how in-user-friendly the presale process is) almost probably without thinking about it.
Instead, having been thwarted, I'm not signed up, and now have run into family problems, am unlikely to get there even if I feel the sudden urge.
What is rather disturbing is, I've been thinking, "Well, it's the same set as last year, and that wasn't bad, so if I don't go I can just buy the LNOTE video instead." Duh.

Isn't this just another insult after realising the crowds are absolute SHIGHT that's going to watch his band this winter unlike the mind blowing crowds that we saw at the reunions !. He knows his time is up. "He knows his time is up" We live in hope that that's true, cos it's waaaay past embarrasing at this stage.

What crap. I was at the Hammy Odeon both tours, there was no sign of a lack of stamina from FF. It was us old farts in the crowd trying to revive our lost youth that lacked stamina, but the atmosphere was so unbelievable that adrenalin replaced stamina.
