What about Hamish Plant, Cameron Page, Frazer Paul Jones and Rabbie Bonham. Equally ridiculous wouldn’t ya say?...... Not even close, fannybaws. Many many years ago I worked with a guy who was unfortunate enough to have the surname Organ.... Not only did he have to suffer that but his parents inexplicably christened him Rupert.... WTF were they thinking...?

Saw Toby with Fast Eddie (Fastway) adn they kicked some serious ass. This song doesn't do him justice.

Quo's influence has always interested me, particularly as we have to dig for it now. The Ramones were significantly influenced, as were Motorhead and Lars Ulrich. Those three have been huge in influencing rock during the last 30 years. At least AC/DC were on this list - hard to think of more influential acts during the last 30 years Then there was also the sex pistols.
This list confirms what I've long thought - that Quo's influence is misunderstood and massively under-appreciated.
I would also say the bands image was huge and clear to see in the whole NWOBHM scene. That Piledriver cover....

They came in at the tail end of the hair metal years just as grunge took off, and they suffered for it. Little Angels - Too Posh to Mosh, Too Good to Last.

I enjoyed the UK rock scene of that time, Thunder, Choireboys, Almighty, Wolfsbane, death metal scene. There were also some fun but ridiculous bands like Tigertailz and Dogs D'Amour.
