RIP Malcolm. Another sad blow for the Young family. Sincere sympathies.

Without Rick, I would never have gotten into music or picked up the guitar.
Without Malcolm, I would never have pushed myself. I loved that band.
What do you say really? I did shed a few tears over the news but, being the tough fucker he was, he wouldn't like that so, thanks Mal!
Thank you for the riffs, the songs, the inspiration, those gigs, getting me through things...
Your work and soul will live on forever to me and will inspire further generations...
You played too loud mate, but fuck 'em, that's tough

Shocking news to wake up to but it was expected and I'm glad, for him, it's sooner than later. He's certainly left some iconic riffs and songs that will rock on for many generations. RIP Malcolm. letsrock

Another really sad loss to music but I'm also glad he didn't have to continue to suffer the indignities of dementia for longer. My thoughts are with Angus and their family and the guys in the band. ACDC supported us on our European tour in 76 and they were such great guys. Times like this make me feel so old remembering great nights out and now Malcolm, Bon, Ronnie, Jimmy and Cozy are all gone. For those who rocked, I salute you. Nice post Tony and you must be in very rare company to be able to say AC/DC were a support act for your band.

For me accadacca marginally second to Quo in my life. Saw them a few times before they took on the world and was obvious they’d get to the top one day. Unlike Ricks death ( which was a huge shock to the system that morning Christmas Day here), Malcolm’s was expected but as the day goes on its really hitting home now. Ive had a couple of coldies now and it’s time to listen to my fav DC album Powerage.

Very sad news. Terrible illness. I am old enough to have seen AC/DC with Bon Scott and have seen them several times since. Great sound, terrific live. I'm listening to Classic Rock now and they're playing shake a leg.

A great tragedy and the only good side, he must've fought it tooth and nail to go down only 3 years after his diagnosis. Or been very lucky. Rest in Peace Malcolm.

A great tribute played by the Foo Fighters (and 1 by Guns and Roses). RIP Malcolm.
