Yes, out of loyalty to Andy.

Yes, if I can. Out of loyalty to Rick cos that's the only thing that matters imo.

A man who couldn't even pronounce his mate's name as he was too overcome by emotions; a man who couldn't face a poster or an image of his best friend at one of his recent shows. How will Francis cope on a memorial dedicated to that same pal? (Maybe I worry too much, after all he can also be a complete hypocrite.)
I think I'll give it a miss.

Maybe...but it's all about a lot of IF's for me -
IF it actually happens!?!?! The more time that goes on without an official announcement the more I reckon we've been led up the garden path by Porter and co at the time to appease grieving fans
IF it was in a certain format- I went to the Mercury tribute at Wembley in '92 and I'd like it to be in that style (with Rick's mates or other accomplished players doing his parts)
IF Spud or Alan (or both) make an appearance
IF Rhino is BANNED from singing Rain or ANYTHING else that Rick did lead vocal on
IF it's near to or in Manc...
The likelihood of any of these coming off in reality are....well, low shall I say 🙄

IF it was possible to attend, I would go to honour Rick.

There is no way i would go to any thing if FRQ were playing, not even an event in memory of Rick.
This would actually be an insult to Rick (and FRQ and Porter would use (abuse) it / hijack the event as a publicity event for some product they want to sell).
For FR to play himself (or even with Alan or John) would be fine.
It would make me sick to see the muppets that present themselves as QUO in FRQ. If they ever appear on TV it will be an automatic switch off or switch station for myself as I cannot stand this band and that view has only strengthened with the replacement for Rick,

I'd go for the rest of it, if it was a big thing... but if it was just FRQ playing in tribute to Rick, i wouldnt fucking bother. Playing his songs half arsed and with a man that CANNOT sing on vocals would be the furthest thing from being a tribute... it'd be a defamation

No. Unless it's in Glasgow. Which it won't be. I'll give you a lift.

Probably. Last chance to be with the Quo Army and then that's it.
But then CQ have around 55 gigs planned this year. Not much time to plan and rehearse a good tribute.
55 gigs, same set. Jesus. The band must surely be bored shitless. That's not for love, that's just for money.

I wouldn't have gone but if people don't go to gigs at the City Hall it'll close. It is one of the few iconic rock venues left. Which is ironic as it won't be a rock show.

It really is mental - here, for example, is the set we will be playing in Glasgow on June 9th: CAROLINE PAPER PLANE MEAN GIRL AGAIN & AGAIN THE ORIENTAL A REASON FOR LIVING ROLLING HOME (Blue for You) LITTLE LADY MOST OF THE TIME I SAW THE LIGHT RAIN DOWN DOWN JUNIORS WAILING BREAK THE RULES IN MY CHAIR DOWN THE DUSTPIPE RAILROAD BLUE EYED LADY SOFTER RIDE DONT THINK IT MATTERS ROADHOUSE BLUES DONT WASTE MY TIME ROCKIN ALL OVER THE DING DONG BYE BYE JOHNNY. At the next gig after that, at least SIX of those songs will be changed. All the tribs I know do this. Why can't Quo? But...but...what about the flow? You cannot play any setlist and just not bother about the flow, you know. (Maybe change the name to NoFlow?)
