If an event did get organised (it won't, sad sad I know) then it's up to the individual whether to go or not. A lot of people who are Linkin Park fans are most likely having the same thoughts in that no-one else could do the songs justice. To me it's a celebration so you put that to the back of your mind. There are only 2 people in the Quo camp who have the pull or say in making a tribute show happen. The ball is firmly in their respective courts and are holding the Aces let's say. As much as we love Al and JC on here, they don't have the power or the connections to organise something. As X-members of the band their kudos (to those outside the Quo fraternity) is much less.

Agreed, but is the band or inter-fighting elsewhere that has maybe stopped something from happening. The only right(ish) time now would be just before/after Christmas, being the anniversary of his death.

That was a great tribute to Rick, the rocker who gave 100% at every gig and despite his personal troubles, always portrayed the image the fans wanted to see. quorp letsrock
