"He was as equally wonderful as he was frustrating". RJP. I can remember a couple of tweets from RPJ just after his dad's heart attack in 2014, he was so frustrated with him, not listening or doing what he was told by doctors and nurses. He deleted the tweets soon after....

Just listened - lovely tribute.
I completely agree with RPJ and Alan G Parker - there only was ever one Quo and I was privelidged and thankful to have seen the FF reunions.
I didn't quite get it before then, but after Hammersmith 2013, there was no doubt.
Interview got me at the end when John got upset.

Just as an after thought...
No one picked WYW as a favourite song... the guitar intro to that song has to up there with one of the best rock intros?

It was never a favourite of mine back in the day, but its been ridiculously devalued over the decades as a karaoke song. Despite the intriguing intro, the FF made plenty of songs far better than this - so I wasn't disappointed it wasn't chosen

Sometimes I have to go back and listen to 'Hello' to remember how good a track it actually is. The problem is whenever I hear it in my head I picture 90's Quo at full pelt playing too fast, Rhino dancing, Andy's 'piano' high in the mix, but the album takes you back to basics. WYW is similar.

I get that train of thought.
Although, the EOTR and the live version from the NEC 89 gig have been the best I've heard

I still love the intro!
