Hello there! Rick Parfitt JNR and Joe Webb (from RPJ Band) are working in Hamburg, finishing the 9-10 Tracks (Simon Porter said it weeks ago) Rick had worked on with Joe.
Rick recorded his Voice and his Guitarplay. They are working together with Ear Music (like Quo) and with FourtChordRecords (Quo´s own Company).
Cant wait for it!
Rock on!

I really hope they'll also include the PLC tracks on that album! Great news, but also so strange to think and realise that this will be the last stuff we'll ever hear from Rick....

I wouldn't put money on that Per...there's alway loads of demo's that can be given the treatment.Like when they get an artist to repaint a masterpiece. All they are doing is repainting it but it's called restoration. I'll take a guess at the press release "In tribute to our much loved member of the Quo family and,in accordance with his wishes,we are pleased to announce this fantastic collection of demo's and discarded tracks from Rick Parfitt. These cover the years 1970 to 1976 and including Ricks demo's for Mystery Song,Rain,Lonely Man,All The Reasons and including a reimagined electric version of Everything featuring the current incarnation of the legendary band" How's that?

Hopefully RPJ, especially, will ultimately get some self healing as a reward for bravely helping put together his departed fathers unfinished last work, that was cut short so sadly and prematurely. About the best tribute he could make to his dad

This is very welcome news. Although sad, it will be great to hear him again on new material.

Anyone willing to wager that it will be utter shite?.... Of course it will. All his songs have been since the early 80s.

DavyNo and QQ1...Like a couple of late tackling shirt tugging niggling blocking Italian hatchet men of the 70's

Know this is a long shot but RPJ needs to look after his fathers legacy regards what's released same way Rory Gallaghers Brother does
