Hi All, Hidden Figures 2016 (Via SKY Cinema) An excellent drama based on the true achievements by three women (Among many) that where the unsung heroes of the US Space race having not only to put up with racism but sexism in a male dominated theatre of work. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anybody interested in the space race for a peak through the curtain of what is rarely mentioned, except when brought to life in films such as this. Not only that a good soundtrack and plenty of American cars from the 50's and the 60's.....
Starring:-Taraji P. Henson,Octavia Spencer,Janelle Monáe,Kevin Costner,Kirsten Dunst,Jim Parsons,Glen Powell,Mahershala Ali, Karan Kendrick,Donna Biscoe,Joylette Coleman,Rhoda Griffis,Maria Howell,Aldis Hodge,Paige Nicollette,Gary Weeks,Saniyya Sidney, Zani Jones Mbayise,Kimberly Quinn and Olek Krupa.
Three brilliant African-American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe) -- serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn (Glen Powell) into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world.

The time is 1939 and the place is Poland, homeland of Antonina Zabinski and her husband, Dr. Jan Zabinski. The Warsaw Zoo flourishes under Jan's stewardship and Antonina's care. When their country is invaded by the Nazis, Jan and Antonina are forced to report to the Reich's newly appointed chief zoologist, Lutz Heck. The Zabinskis covertly begin working with the Resistance and put into action plans to save the lives of hundreds from what has become the Warsaw Ghetto.

Watched this and thought it made 007's recent outings look like old hat.Great plot with the cast and director working hard to make it work.No sign of 007's tedious shagathon bits.Bonds producers should watch this and worry. The gadget stuff is very imaginative and watch out for a standout performances from Cruise and Baldwin.

I won't paste the trailer of London Has Fallen. An absolutely dreadful film with a ludicrous plot and rubbish acting. Here's a snippet. The President is on the run through London(England) with a Secret Service agent(Played by British actor who masters the American dialect by growling out of the side of his mouth).Somehow the Secret Service agent knows the location of an MI6 safehouse and takes the President through the deserted night time streets of London(England)having survived a crash in a helicopter that came down in broad daylight in Regents Park.Luckily nobody was about as is often the case in sleepy old London(England).

The Shape of Water. This should be renamed as The Shape of a Turd. Its probably the worst film i have ever watched. Set in the '60's, the american secret service have captured a lizard from the amazon. A mute female cleaner (Who you get to see pleasure herself not once but twice in the bath) falls in love with the lizard. The female then plots to kidnap the lizard, then sets it free into the local canal. You have been warned.

Hi All, Live By Night 2016 (Via Sky Cinema) A somewhat sedated gangster film but when the action does happen it is good so on the whole although panned by some critics as average I actually enjoyed this film....
Starring:-Ben Affleck,Elle Fanning,Remo Girone,Brendan Gleeson,Robert Glenister,Matthew Maher,Chris Messina,Sienna Miller, Miguel Pimentel,Zoe Saldana,Chris Cooper,Titus Welliver,Max Casella,J. D. Evermore,Clark Gregg,Anthony Michael Hall, Chris Sullivan, Derek Mears and Gianfranco Terrin.
It's the Roaring `20s and Prohibition hasn't stopped the flow of booze in an underground network of gangster-run speakeasies. The opportunity to gain power and money is there for any man with enough ambition and nerve, and Joe Coughlin, the son of the Boston Police superintendent, long ago turned his back on his strict upbringing for the spoils of being an outlaw. But even among criminals there are rules, and Joe breaks a big one: crossing a powerful mob boss by stealing his money and his moll.
