That EP was a large part of the initial addiction and excitement to a wonderfully powerful and rhythmic style of rock music I had not heard before. And so I became an instant fan
When you hear that well known classic played as it used to be like that, you don't wish to hear it played any other way

I fear we have seen the last of ROLD in its glory.
But there is still the next FF album to look forward to. Come on, you gods!

I still reckon Francis says...'a little thing from the Hello album...Ive gotta say Allo cause I've gotta speak slower........' Anyway that clips a classic. After the Down Down release, the ROLD EP blew me away....then a few months later Status Quo came to my town, here in Oz, and I'm guessing you all know the euphoric experience felt when witnessing this band in full flight in the 70s. I can't recall who made that ROLD clip,on the old Official board, but he made a couple of other sensational clips and I'd love to see them again.

I have always presumed the Roll Over Lay Down live EP was recorded solely at the Kursaal,Southend. I have now read on Wiki that it could have been from Trentham, Stoke. Could anyone clarify. Cue Kursaal75!

Noticed that the video on the "Accept No Substitute" DVD has the full intro/speaking - Rossi 'trying' to mime along and everyone giggling - priceless!
And of course they came in just a fraction of a second too late.

Cue Kursaal75! Junior's Wailing and Roll Over Lay Down, was recorded at The Southend Kursaal. 01:03:75 Gerdundula was a sound check recording at Trentham Garden's, Stoke. 02:03:75
