Never heard that one. I have heard Ease Your Mind from Blue For You though. It's the first track after Little Lady on On the Level...you don't know much about Quo do you! Oh that one you mean the one that goes like This

Like it along with lonely man,the way the tracks were laid down on most ff albums rocking hard tracks followed by softer tracks picking the beat up as the album went along like been at the concert ! (anyone remember looking at the track times on the ff albums you bought before playing them) just out of interest ?

If not for that one out of place song, the Quo album would be #1 on my Quo list of albums.

I don't like fff
That said, the quality of the performance makes it listenable, particularly during the solo
To some extent , everything Quo did during the best years was enjoyable down to the vibe and chemistry. With the ff, good songs became great

Fine Fine Fine, Claudie....All those country styled songs were made great by Alan and John. And I say that purely because if you listen to Rossi's country songs after 1984, they all have the same drum and bass pattern.
I am convinced if those tunes were written after 1984, they'd have the same drum and bass patterns like shite like Sail Away, Looking For A Girl Called Caroline, Modern Romance, Going Down For The First Time, (Not the worst song that tbf) etc etc

I don't think FFF is like the CQ stuff, because it is so guitar orientated. It is obviously a bluegrass sort of genre, but that is OK, UW is a straight blues number after all, and look at Gerdundula or NaNaNa or Lakky Lady. What separates FF from CQ is not Rockness and Heaviness and Volume, but rather a focus on guitars rather than synthy keys I think. Actually Mrs Flittersnoop likes this twice, but you can't put that in cos it switches it off again!

Love it. Fab guitar break. Always makes me boogie in my chair. In fact finding Quo's back catalogue altered my whole relationship with country. I learned to like what was great about it. Carl Perkins, for example.
The "maker" in this fine song is the running guitar behind parts of the verses. Nothing original, standard country, just a great listen.
