I've had quite a few people tell me to get this book and tbh I was expecting it to be quite a decent release, but, it's a shocking if I'm honest.
I was expecting it to contain more pages than it does... The pictures are here and there. Some are decent, whereas others are stretched to shit or they've cropped it to a certain part of a larger image.
Really disappointed and glad I got it cheap!
What are everyone else's thoughts on this book that came out in '95 / '96?

Never got it..and after reading your post I wont bother.. 2 of the best official photo book releases, IMO, are; John Shearlaws 20th Anniversary book from 1986 Just Doin' It, 40th Anniversary book by Rick, Francis and Bob

Not had a proper read of it... just a section that mentions how poorly Pete was treat at times whilst he was with the band due to being a quiet / kept to himself type of person.

its awful. I got it quite cheap on eBay, £20. Some sites sell it for near £100. It's rare, but it's not feckin' good enough to be sold at such a high price.

Should you not have flogged it at one of the sites where it sells at £100 before you slated it? Or is it a bluff and yer trying to drive the price down, buy other copies at rock bottom and then clean up?

I've been after it for a while and it's a massive disappointment to say the least.

Never heard that about Pete before, wasn't the same sort of rumour going around about Matt too years later?

Never heard that about Pete before, wasn't the same sort of rumour going around about Matt too years later? Apparently the band didnt talk to Matt at all. But they used to mock Pete for having a very quiet personality and being the oldest band member at the time. He'd been there and done that as far as the drinking and drug taking (which I doubt he did) goes. Would love to know what he thought of Quo whilst he was with the band, especially Rossi Cheers

Bit fed up of John and Alan.

To be honest, I was quite happy with it at the time as it was good to see Quo product out there in the high street.
As for Matt- I don’t think there is any bad blood there.
There was a photo of Matt at Rick’s funeral in the press getting a big hug from Francis.....Francis doesn’t strike me as that type of person normally even if there isn’t an issue !!
Plus, Patty posted on Facebook that Matt was as Rick’s favourite Quo drummer to play with.
Maybe Matt just got fed up and wanted to leave?
We all love a conspiracy however maybe it’s really just as simple as that ?

The Matt situation is very strange from the outside. Who leaves a good job for no reason? I wonder if it was just that Francis wanted Leon in.
Who read the bits from Roy Lynes in the last fan club mag? He said Rick and Francis did schoolboy stuff mocking him about his lisp. Francis used to boast about "roasting" new crew members. Is this a boy thing? (Girls do it too but it's less visible and can be really mean ... ) Anyway I don't think F&R ever quite grew out of that. No Head Teacher to keep them in line ...

What are everyone else's thoughts on this book that came out in '95 / '96? Yeah, I bought this at the time. I thought it was OK but it didn't really contain an awful lot I hadn't seen before. If I remember correctly anyway. Haven't glanced at it in rather a long time. It looked good on the table or on the shelf; all very hardback and glossy. I've just had a very quick look and it doesn't have the retail price on it so I have no idea how much I paid for it. A tenner or something probably. I'm glad I have it but, I must be honest, who looks at a book of photographs more than once or twice? I get the "Wildlife Photographer of the Year" book every single year for Christmas and I love it. But once it's been looked at a couple of times....
