Weird....
Now for the band called Status Quo that is certainly right down their street since ‘81.
So many songs that those in charge think sound good but are just weird decisions.
In truth I don’t know the titles as mostly they were weird and not very good.
So back to what I actually know.
The ending of the Mountain lady is weird. Big Man’s not weird just not very good. Same with Baby boy. Very much of its time but not weird.
So in conclusion little weird stuff 72-81.
86 onwards lots of weird stuff.

I don’t really think anything Quo did was weird per say, not by their standards would sum up a lot of the stuff listed.
Warning Shot’s another one.

Did seem bizarre at the time. I don't think even the band saw that one coming until it was too late! A jam out of nowhere. 'Like A Zombie' - far removed in its theme from their boogie blues/country roots even if some think it has elements of the Blue For You album. One of Quo's more interesting tracks, post '85, I hasten to add. Though some of Quo's early stuff, in the lyrics department, were definitely weird. For example 'In My Chair' and 'Paper Plane'. God knows what they're all about? Well, I have a fair idea!
