The graph on this page will tell you when ITAN was not performed by Quo in concert I was right! They didn't play it in 2003 or 2004....that's nearly 20 years ago (well 15)!

Bula Quo.
Why?
When I was asked to choose between QPQ and BQ (on the other forum), I couldn't. So, saying that it's the best since QPQ isn't possible if I have similar opinions on both albums. And saying it's the best since ISOTFC doesn't work at all because I don't think it's better than QPQ.

I’m not sure I have listened to such an average album in a long time. If it wasn’t the connection with the band name I would not have listened to it three times.
Haven’t listened to it in over a month. I can’t imagine I will listen to it again.
Compared to other releases under the name Status Quo. It rates along side the average recordings they occasionally release. Usually they aren’t really bad but just completely unmemorable.

Quid Pro Quo.
Which was the best album since Under the Influence then you have to go back to Never Too Late. Aquostic 1 I quite like, you can keep the rest for me am afraid.

Interesting range of responses to the album as a whole
There are plenty who think it's typical of the quality of albums of the last 25/30 years (whether fans think that's a good thing or not varies...)
Some hate it, others love it.
It's had much more positive reviews than I've ever known before for Quo. Surely there's a reason for that? I also think it's fair to say that some of the fans who love it have been very critical of the band in recent years

Yep, I certainly have been between 2012 and up to Backbone. After QPQ things went very bad for me. But this album I indeed love, still play it very regularly.

I also think it's fair to say that some of the fans who love it have been very critical of the band in recent years I fall into one camp for sure. I haven't played it in weeks. Possibly never play it again. Although every few years I do try to revisit everything. I always knew as soon as they put out an album of original material those who have liked the albums post UTI would like whatever the band put out. To a lesser or greater extent. This year there have been some great releases. Some career defining releases. Status Quo have released a very average pop rock album , that has made no impact on the mainstream. Their core audience as usual made it chart. Then off it disappeared. If it makes people happy great. If that's what people want to listen to, well great for them. Its so ordinary unoriginal and quite boring to me. As for its positive reviews. I don't think that is just about its quality. If reviews were just about quality the albums 70-76 would have been critically acclaimed then and now in the mainstream media.
