How exactly were Rhinos comments fair and backed up? Cheers “ Also his comment about the FF reunion being a “fucking shambles” is fair too in my opinion, nothing personal about the comment at all. From a musicians point of view it was a shambles, and even as a mere audience member it was nothing entirely special, nostalgia aside. Respectfully disagree 100%.

If Alan wants to vent, so be it. I can only imagine how pissed off he was at Frame after the second FF tours, and I'm sure Nuff is acutely aware of his own mortality..... Still, always better to look forward than back. Frame and Nuff appear as stubborn as each other. Like Fire and Ice, with Andy in the middle....like lukewarm water. Some more pics from JC's page.

True but you would think that he could have understood that Rick's health was evidently getting worse. I don't think carrying on with more FF gigs would have changed the inevitable outcome sadly.

True in hindsight, but Aquostic or not, the current band kept working flat out with him.

You said they aren’t living off famous bands as replacements. So what are they then? Cheers If bands didn't get replacements many would have stopped before they even achieved a modicum of fame or reached their classic period, Quo included. I think it's the tone of your comment which makes replacements sound parasitic, they're just musicians doing a job. Read it how you want a replacement is a replacement in whatever line of work Cheers

Some more pics from JC's page. [Sigh!] God, this thread leaves me in no doubt as to why I take holidays from this board at times - it can be tough going!
My favourite Quo is The FF. For me, 'End of...' But I DO get that other folks like the more recent incarnations [some of which I like - a lot of which I just can't stomach] and some folks like it all. That's Ok - we all have our preferences, tastes and choices. Deal with it.
As for AL/FR/Rhino etc comments - really, would you expect anything else?
Having said all that; can someone tell us who the 2 'other' guys in the photo are? [Sorry, but I haven't a clue who they are folks!]
AND - I really dig Rhino's shirt [and I can only assume he 'gets' its significance?!]

I'll have a look.. find it hard to believe though.. 'Tongue in cheek' throwaway comments I would think meant to be frivolous and funny...i.e. get all the signatures before they all die and throwing in the comment about Rossi which must be seen in the same context and not at all a literal comment or meant to be serious. The comments are not in the same league as the recent House of commons debates with reference to Jo Cox but exaggerating the feeling between Alan and Francis in front of fan (and for which I think Alan has understandable and justifiable pain and loss).

I Think it's Jim Kirkpatrick and Richard Newman, Guitar and Drums in Rhinos Revenge.

I suppose it's similar to how Ritchie Blackmore once said he was going to beat up Ian Gillan with some friends (Possibly Swedish) in a back alley.

In fairness it can't be denied that Rossi gives Nuff a proper slagging in his book so only natural that he takes this opportunity to fire back.

There is a board member on here that knows some unsavoury Scandinavians as well, and he still has some unsettled scores. Kill the King, take his head, indeed.

Hopefully the PLC recordings will get a green light though even without any of Alan's latest comments, it always seemed just wishful thinking that Rossi would commit to the idea. Not at the convention personally so interesting to read some of what has been going on. Though what I do know is that Alan does have an interesting sense of humour, in fact all in the FF were known for their strange take on things at times. Pip Williams has talked about his first meeting with Francis, Rick, Alan and about how quickly they all got on, this being largely due to them all sharing the same sick sense of humour! Many a true word said in jest?...well let's hope not!

There are no PLC recordings. It’s a bigger con than Brexit. They would have been out by now. Cashing in and all that. They don’t exist.

John Eden keeps getting onto Alan telling him to do the vocals for them. Why are you so set in your ways and believe they dont exist. Just because they havent been released doesn't mean they dont exist.
