What exactly was said then by Alan? Still feel he has a right to be bitter after his lifeās work taken from him though but maybe shouldnāt have said that about Rossi Cheers

"oh please" and something like "I mean proper bands". Sad to see him behaving this way really, a lot of his comments seemed paranoid or delusional to be honest. Many people were disappointed in the direction he took, it was completely unnecessary in this setting.

Only heās shit out of luck when the bottom line is Quo were always a band with very strong pop sensibility and Rossi had the brains to change with the changing times, Alan did not. In my view, Alanās bitter on a very personal level, and personal problems shouldnāt make their way into bands.

Alan was bitter in the 60's if Rossi's book is to be believed.
Finding it hard to remain neutral reading this stuff about Alan at Minehead.

Rhino had also not his best days when he talked about the Frantic Four Reunion in some interviews and when you read what Rossi talks sometimes about the other Frantic Four members there is nobody who could throw a stone.

They have both made their comments, but nothing as appalling as Alan threatening to kill Francis in front of Quo fans at a Quo convention

As much as Iām not a keen fan of the wobbly headed one, Rhinoās comments on the FF were completely fair and backed up, Alan on the other hand...

Cheers āI feel really sorry for Nuff that he canāt let it go. I watched a recent interview with him and he was still incredibly bitter. After more than 30 years I would hate to think that I might still harbour a grudge over something. Lifeās too short.ā-Classic Rock Magazine article. Completely fair comment, which yet again is a relevant one after what Nuffās been saying at Minehead. Life is indeed too short. Also his comment about the FF reunion being a āfucking shamblesā is fair too in my opinion, nothing personal about the comment at all. From a musicians point of view it was a shambles, and even as a mere audience member it was nothing entirely special, nostalgia aside.

You must have been at a different gig then,it was fine and many thousands of happy fans afterwards too. They got ripped off by bad management.Alan has every right to be bitter but if he made those comments about Francis publicly then I agree that was out of order.Rhino has made a good living off the back of being in Quo so good luck to him. Cheers

Cheers Itās present on all the gigs, recordings and videos of which are knocking about all over YT. Yes you thought it was the bollocks and Iām glad you did as well as everyone else who did, but besides the reminiscing and nostalgia of it all, they were pretty shocking, the common consensus being Parfitt held it together, which he did. The comment about Rhino making a good living off the back of Quo seems rather bitter, heās been with the band long enough where heās just as much of a member as Alan or John were. Even then he shows his respect towards the latter two and admires the once great band they were, which is mainly what his shambles comment is derived from. Lacklustre.

My comment applies about any musician joining a famous band, not just Rhino. Steve Morse Deep Purple,Richie Faulkner Judas Priest as examples. No bitterness there just simple fact, they are making a decent living off the back of being in famous bands as replacements. Cheers
