Love it,certainly a lot better than the new album by “them” IMO even if the material is over 30 years old Cheers

Had a second listen yesterday, really good. Alan obv believed in She's a mystery, bit surprised it was still getting played at that point.
Can only assume it's not the full gig? I'd heard AL was singing a cover of ROLD at that time, that would have been great to have, esp with John.

It was a shame that apart from the fantastic live gigs The Bombers gave us, there was virtually zero impact on radio and therefore onto the masses. Tyrone Coates was a great singer but after the band folded I’ve never heard of him since

I'm in touch with Tyrone, he's still actively gigging. The Bombers did also play Quo and Angels covers but none of those were provided as part of this project, it's what Alan wanted it to be.

Is there likely to be a second project, either more live stuff including performance of other bands material, or issuing some studio stuff?

Here's the design of the picture disc. The rear now has some exclusive Bombers live pictures from Alan's own archive. We've only ordered 300 copies and the pre-orders are flying out so don't leave it too late

Worth going to see the Quo and Angels covers but no buried treasure in the originals, and I always thought Swanee did the Party Boys songs better. Nice to see at the time, especially when Bob Young joined them on stage as it was as Quo as I thought I would ever see in Oz back then.
Without some of those excellent covers I'll pass on this.

Been listening to the album all weekend, really enjoying it. Previously had only heard the Life After Quo album, so there was a few tracks that were new to me. Think the live versions of both City Out of Control & No Danger sound better than the studio versions. Was interesting hearing the lyrical differences to Don’t Come Easy, they definitely improved it by the time they got to recording the song.
Would be nice if sometime down the line the full gig was released including the Quo & Angels songs they did.
Noticed that it got a 10/10 review in the new issue of Powerplay Magazine.

They were way up there with the bands I saw live. The singer, Coates, was special no doubt.

Afraid there wasn't any articles in the magazine I particularly wanted to read so didn't purchase a copy, just flicked through, noticed that review and put the mag back on the shelf.
