Also, can anyone rip me a couple of tracks off Alan's "Life After Quo" album, "Matchstick Men" and "Roadhouse Blues" as hi-res MP3's? I was just thinking about that too gav; I had a chance to buy LAQ a long time back, but I put it back in the rack I'd really love to hear it - can anybody please hook me up with even mp3's? Thanks folks

I've always found it completely bizarre, given the circumstances and animosity, that of all the Quo tracks Alan could have covered, he chose the one solo-written Rossi hit POMM!

This may well be controversial on here - but I FAR prefer AL's version that that horrible weedy-sounding original version [but then, IMHO, anything pre-MKGS is a heap of embarrassing psychedelic rubbish] Jus' sayin'.

Here's a 1990 interview with Alan and Tyrone Coates in support of The Bombers album "Aim High".
I originally downloaded this from YouTube, and as the original uploader must have deleted their account, i'm uploading it again.
A good interview, not great quality video though.
