According to Amazon, there will be four editions of the album released come 6th September Hmm, I only see 3: CD, extra CD and vinyl. speaking of the subject, I'm really looking forward to hearing the new stuff. It will be interesting to hear stuff penned by Leon & Richie (if there is one), and the available songs and snippets sound very inspiring to me.

Link to announcement on Youtube ! Great looking font/design for backbone album cover. I'm still not too keen on the fact that they're using the KISS logo font for their next album / tour... then again, KISS are doing the End Of The Road tour and claiming they are the first to use that as a tour title / name. Cheers

Link to announcement on Youtube ! Great looking font/design for backbone album cover. Yeah I like the design for this. Its made to look like a 'rock album'. But...the opening track doesn't match the 'album image'. Well...good guitar sound start but then it falls into 'twee' land again like so much before it. It has nursery rhyme Rossi all over it. Well, that's my album review over with. Thank you.

So glad Simmons lost that other infamous case, so I can proudly, wholeheartedly and without paying give him the horns. Feck the greedy b@st@rd.

That's "Start me Up" speeded up a bit, isn't it?
PS I don't think Backbone is a very good name. It sounds like they've taken the word "Back" and made something fit. Anyway Rick wasn't the backbone, Nuff was. Rick was all the muscly bits that go round the ribs.

Something of the Stones about it, agreed. I thought Liberty Lane had a bit of the Stones influence on it as well, but that's my problem. PS... thanks for the biology lesson Dr Flittersnoop!

I had to laugh at the press statement.
‘The album the doubters said would never happen’.
Surely the doubters had fair comment.
As Francis said he had no interest in making a new rock album.
Am I the only one who saw the title and thought don’t they mean Backstabber more like. I probably am.

Seems as though we are rather spoilt for choice - visit hereNo cassette format!!!! That's going to be the Special Deluxe Collectors Limited Edition version released just in time for Christmas with bonus tracks of an unheard Pete Kircher drum solo and an archive recording of a Bob Young harmonica version of Marguerita Time. All 10 copies available will be personally signed by Simon Porter in wax crayon. Rumours abound that he's already practising his joined up writing.
