Status Quo play London's Hyde Park as part of 'Radio 2 Live' on Sunday 15th September. Francis Rossi said, “ We’re delighted to be teaming up once again with the BBC for the ‘Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park’ spectacular. It’s a wonderful line-up and we can’t wait to blast out those Quo classics to such a big crowd. I can’t say too much right now, but September will be a big month for the band, and what better way to mark that than with a huge show like this? Here’s hoping for lots of fun – and plenty of sun”. Other acts so far confirmed for the 15th are Emeli Sandé, Simply Red and Clean Bandit. Additional acts will be announced on the Zoe Ball Breakfast show on the Radio 2 on Wednesday 5th June. Tickets go on sale on Thursday June 6th at 8:10am from www.bbc.co.uk/events/e4v9hn

It looks to me that they are in comparable company. What a pathetic line-up. Pet Shop Boys headline, ffs.

could be worse could be Billy Ray Cyrus, Gareth Gates, Vengaboys or Jess Glyne But that is a piss poor line up Clean Bandit are fucking awful generic rubbish Kelsea Ballerina - heard of her but not her music thankfully Simply Red - A ginger more overrated then Ed Sheeran, funnily enough i thought SR gave up music years ago Quo, erm same setlist as was played last time they was there with a few new songs played Emeli Sande - pretentious nonense she is overrated Westlife - wet blanket music played for soft wimps Banarama - they are going for the 80's retro trend with them playing y'know nostalgia but without the cocaine Pet Shop Boy's - Best song is West end girl's other then that meh

Are Quo lending Westlife their now unneeded Aquostic stools?

The running order doesn’t always correspond to the pecking order.
For example Travis and Stereophonics have both been first on in recent years with relative unknowns on later in the day.
You can’t please everyone at a festival.
What great exposure for Quo with a new album on the horizon
