I did put that across to them but no budging. Strange thing is, it was on the original track-listing for it and that will have been the one that was sent off to be cleared by Porter... so since then it's been dropped... unless they do carry on with it. We'll see when I get some test discs. RTYD was also going to be a 2 CD / DVD set WOW Those deluxe will be very interesting if they included both DVDs. But since the DVD from Perfect Remedy is apparently dropped, I'm not going to be very optimistic about the RTYD either...Unless they are preparing to sell them by separated or something like that, but again, I'm not going to be very optimistic... Hopefully they do follow through with the DVD's, as the RTYD one contained In The Army Now and Let's Work Together from the Glasgow gig

Any news on what the bonus tracks are for PR and RTYD?

Would anybody seriously be ready to put time aside to go over Perfect Remedy again, how many people would buy this again? I can’t believe it Would it be possible to actually make a profit on this. Totally agree with this sentiment, I'd have another look at RTYD and HT and possibly QPQ but leave the rest of the post 86 output well and truly alone. You can only scrape a barrel so many times before you end up with splinters. Don't you think In Search of the Fourth Chord had some nice ones as well?

A couple yes but it's whether it's worth the effort/money to remix, remaster etc for a couple of good tracks. There reaches a point when the people who might buy such a record already have previous versions and when the difference to sound is negligible or you stick on old live material or even worse terrible quality bootlegs it just smacks of desperation. Just get in the studio and record something new that hopefully the fans will like.

You can only scrape a barrel so many times before you end up with splinters. I don’t mind some of Perfect Remedy, as something nice and gently to listen to if I’m not in a rock mood. It is a fairly inoffensive and pleasant listen at times. But whether I obtain a copy or not depends on what the bonus tracks are. I really like the live rendition of Dirty Water from the Anniversary Waltz Part 2 release, this was tagged on the last PR remaster. Now if they were to include that full gig on this version of the album, I definitely be making a purchase. That was sort of the plan. I put forward both 3CD and 2CD+DVD "options" knowing that DVDs are rather unlikely to be included in this series due to the many complications (getting it rated, etc.). The DVD option only included a selection of the RAOTY concert on CD, the alternative version would have the full gig or at least as it was on the VHS. We'll see how it pans out.

Adding some of the demos and perhaps some live stuff (or even repeating the Tour Edition contents) could make a nice deluxe edition. Personally, I still like the album very much.

Personally I would love to hear a good remix of UTI as well Silk purses, sows ears... Sorry but I think the album could sound better with a better production. I like the album, but if you don't like the album in the first place it's never gonna sound good to you no matter what.
