5 years ago was the last time our heroes played together.

I wasn't there, but now feeling nostalgic - I thought I'd check out some more youtube clips.

Time flies, it really does... Seems like just yesterday I saw them in Manchester in 2013 & 2014.... Very happy memories, but also very sad times since.

I'm taken the approach Ian Brown said onstage in Glasgow when The Stone Roses played their last show together: "Don't be sad it's over, be happy it happened". We'll always have the memories, even if it was only a % of what it was like in their 70s heyday.

Agree totally with that sentiment Powarage, I saw the Roses at Heaton Park on their 1st reunion, Etihad 2nd, (both were awesome btw),& Wembley 3rd, and the last one was not a total let down BUT..., had nowhere the same anticipation/energy of the first 2 reunions for both band & fans alike...(imo)...

Didn't expect to meet a fellow Roses fan on this board, great stuff! I did Finsbury Park and Wembley Stadium being a southerner. Amazing shows, to see John Squire and Ian Brown together was a dream come true. Same applies to the Frantics. I've had a rough year and it's put some things into perspective for me, these are just bands we're talking about, they come and go, but I'm just grateful I had the opportunity to see them.

The Roses reunion gigs were great. Nothing will match them at the International back in the day. Only lived around the corner in Longsight. The Quo reunion gigs meant the world to me. Sadly never to be repeated. The Roses well, money brought them back together so you never know.

Saw the Roses on their '96 tour. Not a reunion technically, as Reni wasn't there, but it was 'the second coming'...
