Huh?? there will be a pro-recorded version from Glasgow that was broadcast? 'will be'... tell us more QI !? [Btw, broadcast where/when?]
Glasgow 1st May 1982 gig was broadcast on Radio Clyde, and the broadcast reels still exist. Cut tracks from the show are Dear John and Down Down, so there's a good chance that both of those tracks still exist from the gig Cheers There's a chance, but it isn't confirmed if those songs still exists on the reels. Am I wrong? Fingers cross anyway.

G Yes,, however considering it's the broadcast reels that still exist and not the master reels from the show, it will be the full gig minus Dear John and Down Down. Same goes for the Glasgow 1989 gig, as they both exist in the Radio Clyde Archives. So the '89 show would be; Caroline Roll Over Lay Down Little Dreamer / Perfect Remedy Dirty Water Whatever You Want In The Army Now Rockin' All Over The World Roadhouse Medley / Roadhouse Blues (Starts from the medley) Burning Bridges Bye Bye Johnny Very incomplete show and loads of tracks removed from it for the broadcast.

Done some work on it today and it's sounding good. I am going to use the private film audio to patch Roadhouse Blues as it's missing a couple of seconds from the ending, which is the same across every source and version of the bootleg, but it doesn't surprise me considering they didn't flip the tape at all inbetween;- Forty Five Hundred Times Big Fat Mama Don't Waste My Time Roadhouse Blues A good 46 minutes right there. Cheers L

Would just like to let everyone know, for those that didn't go to the convention... Status Quo Rescued Recordings have raised a massive Β£2,356 for the Shona Smile Foundation and that's only with doing 4 batches! The group started on March 11th, of this year, and we released our first batch of recordings on the 26th April... since then we have gained 1,306 members to the facebook group, so a massive thank you to anyone that has donated / bought CD's or even downloaded the shows. I never thought my obsession for this band would ever become anything more than an obsession. Cheers & Rock on... Β
