No that's definitely my opinion. Even suffered it again just now to be quite sure. Amazes me that Rossi has the audacity to criticise Again & Again having produced this on the following album. Thanks for making the effort, you're still dead wrong though. *
Thank the gods we all have different opinions, but since I'm rather attached to mine, I think my opinion carries more weight than yours. That's why you are wrong and I'm not, so "Come Rock With Me/ Rockin' On" should be on that album. It might be a bit too loud and heavy for our American chums (those who need to be placated by ballads as openers in order not to scare them off), but I like those songs, so therefore: CRWM/RO are the bollix! No they're just bollix! I usually agree with you Charles but on this occasion you're wrong! Ha ha each to their own! Some people like LLL!

Just out of interest, as I've never heard the USA release, what was the difference in the mix? I love the Whatever You Want album, but always thought the UK mix sounded very toppy.

Rick Roper. a few differences tbh. Whatever You Want intro cut, Living On An Island is a completely different mix. I'll send you a copy so you can give it a listen. Cheers

Breaking away is a real gem, Quo classic in my view. Don't know if it's the same on this album? But i love it 😉😉

They could have improved the USA version by dropping the execrable Come Rock With Me / Rockin' On, imo. Except I love those tracks.
In 1979 I worked selling stereo equipment, which I didn't stop until 1977. I was constantly on the lookout for new bands, both to relieve boredom and to use as demo material. I loved Elvis Costello right away. Not once did I ever hear of Quo. NEVER. And I worked across the street from a huge record store.

Standout track = Who Asked You The rest trail in its wake! Yep agree. Alan may have written some duds but overall I enjoyed his contributions over the others. Would’ve loved to have heard Alan sing it. Alan had a lot of ‘feel’ in his singing.
