Interesting! Great reading. One line that stood out (negatively) to me though was this: "the production on this album is much simpler and louder" Simpler is OK, but as I've mentioned to often on this forum & elsewhere, a louder CD is not something truly desirable because it means more compression applied. And indeed, these two albums were the first Quo albums to suffer from the digital loudness wars, something they have never managed to leave behind unfortunately...
