The truth...
Wouldn’t it be nice if we told the real reason they said no more electric tours ?
By now, people will go or not as they please with the line up as is.
I don’t expect the truth. But would like it.
For example why did Francis refuse to wait to bow out on a 59 and out hits tour?
Just asking or thinking aloud.

What does KCAB stand for? I had no idea what this thread was about until I opened it. It’s their slogan for their new tour. On the tour poster it reads... !KCAB tour I appreciate I then went a little off point.

Got it. I've had a look on their site and actual poster makes more sense. It means BACK! but spelt backwards. Oh, so clever. Sigh. Not commenting on the rest of your post, simply had no idea what this thread was about.

The truth... Wouldn’t it be nice if we told the real reason they said no more electric tours ? Presumably a combination of Rick's rapidly declining physical health, a desire by all to keep touring and Porter coming up with a new money making gimmick for recycling old material from the glory days. Sadly with the antipathy between Rick and Francis being at such a level it was no wonder Rick didn't admit that Aquostic was for his benefit mainly. Once the decision had been made public however it quickly blew up in their faces for unforseeable reasons, namely the lack of enthusiasm by the ticket buying public for seeing the project more than once and then of course Rick's sudden death. With Porter and Francis at the helm it was inevitable that there would be a return to the electrics, the ensuing mess and bad taste in fans' mouths wouldn't really bother either of them.

I wish i wasn't so cynical, but when i see that poster, my first reaction is to try and think how i can take the piss out of it.

Where's drummer #5 on the poster? Sadly he couldn't make the photoshoot. He was having a lesson on style, feel and individuality from JC.
