Well, my last Quo gig of the year and indeed the band’s last gig takes place tomorrow in Zurich.
Two things I’ll be interested in:
1) the attendance. Normally Zurich pulls in a huge crowd. It will be interesting to see if this is still a stronghold.
Potentially it will be as it’s been two years since they played here and there are no German winter indoor gigs .
2) Normally there are flyers for the next Zurich gig- im hoping to see they will return in two years !!

Zurich was a hugely enjoyable gig with around 10,000 in attendance.
I didn’t see anything to indicate that Quo will return/ hopefully they will as in my opinion it is THE Quo venue to experience.
Amsterdam comes a close second.
As usual in Zurich the crowd were up for a right good time from the get go.
Good to hear Don’t Waste My Tine in the encore.
I prefer Paper Plane after the medley as I feel it flows better as opposed to a slightly awkward stop before starting Mystery Song.
Mystery Song does sound good live though, somthats a minor quibble.
I really enjoyed hearing Backwater. Again, at concert level it sounds absolutely great.
All in all I think an enjoyable time was had by all

Totally agree with the above, the current wife and I did the Innsbruck and Zurich gigs, had a couple of days in each city and really enjoyed it. The band looked happier on stage than I've seen them in years and the large crowd at each gig were really great, Zurich in particular with it being the last gig before a longish break was a fantastic atmosphere and the crowd were really into the music. Despite what certain people say Quo are still great live and it was heartening to see the hugely positive reaction Richie got from the crowd when he was on lead vocal.
With new material to play and a set overhaul I'm looking forward to 2019.

Haven't been able to take that mental leap to see Quo on stage since Rick passed away.
Though Cammy's and bluehighway's reviews are making me think. Perhaps the love affair is not over just yet.

It’s not the same , but that’s only natural as there was only one Rick Parfitt. However if you love hearing those songs then it’s still hugely enjoyable. Richie is his own guy and doesn’t try to be like Rick, which I think is very important. Maybe the transition was easier for me because I saw Richie stand in whilst Rick was initially ill , so I’d gotten used to Richie playing with the band as the months went on . If you do go along, make sure you pick a gig where there will be like minded people near you......that’s one reason I keep returning to Zurich because the vibe is excellent
