Rock Til You Drop version every time.
I much prefer the guitar sound and the swing into the heavy shuffle before that last bit of singing is superior to the Hello version, in my opinion.

Well... As well all know, the 24 track audio masters and both edited tape masters were found way back in 09/10 during the Pictures Documentary filming. I have a bootleg of the full version but no official audio of the full performance, for the moment. If that's good enough gerh I am hoping to get a better copy of my current Milton Keynes boot at some point off of Raymond from Status Quotes, great guy! Cheers Maybe we'll all [??!!] wait until you get the better copy Luke! [Btw, what's with the cryptic '... for the moment.'? You really think SQ would release the full gig - missing songs and all?] I do think they would release it. Missing songs and all...

Now that would be just great!! Have to say though (if/when it happens) I really fear to think about what the artwork etc. will be like, recent precedent not providing much hope on that front! ✌️

I had a radio cassette of "the charlie gig" before I had Hello, so that was always the one. Still is. Probably why I didn't listen to the studio version much. It was only about 5 years ago I realised just how brilliant the original is. I'm unlikely to listen to RTYD again, unless some bastard somewhere decides it's gonna be album of the month You never know....

I'd either they do something to replicate the VHS cover, or design something like my profile photo I have plenty of ideas anyway haha

I forget who posted it but there was a nice image on here which prompted me to say "That would make a good DVD cover" and I messed around with it a bit. Took about five minutes in Paint.NET

Took about five minutes in Paint.NET kursaal75 also did something similar, however for the front I'd say a daytime shot would be better off, and one from after the gig on the back *offtopic*

How about Hammersmith 1979? Do you know if there are any plans for that one too?

Rossis guitar wasn't captured during Caroline due to an issue and he snaps a string during Hold You Back, which isn't noticeable on the bootleg of the gig but I've not heard anything from the tapes...
