Just before the holiday there was this discussion about magpies and crows. While I was camping in Copenhagen I spotted a bird which had a but of both so I took 2 photos of it. But what is it?

Hmmmm. That is two different birds snapped at different times.

.. but after looking again the shadows seem to be in the exact same spot. Looking at both photos again, the shadow is cast by the Fire Post sign over the red box. I don't think its the bird. The distance of the photographer from the red box is different in each photo. And the same car in the b/g is in a different relationship to the red box/bird. So the photographer has moved between shots. Mind you, that could be to get another angle. Maybe its like that dress which looked both blue and gold, depending on the light! But I'm sticking with different birds. No expert to say which species though.
