Thanks to americanquo I've only just heard the "Brothers in Boogie" album I was really surprised just how great the studio sound is, reminiscent of Accept, Purple, Diamond Head but mostly a pleasingly metallic, fresh old Quo. Turns out the album is produced by Stef Kaufmann of Accept. Respect! Explains everything. 100percentrock.com/cd-reviews/201612/212352Dunno how or why I've been unaware of this band. The cover of Don't Think It Matters is the most enjoyable cover of a Quo song I can think of.

Aren't they great? I've been really surprised how little I've heard about them in the Quo community. They oughta do an England tour. Or, better yet, an American one.

Would love that. Who knows, maybe next year for the World War 2 book.
