I think a whip round to buy Derry Quo a ticket and some expenses to get him tanked up and vocal...the evening deserves him.

When Bruce Dickinson did a talking tour this year the £30 ticket included a signed copy of his book ...

I assume everything he says on his talking tour are stories we have all heard before and said the same way.

I see elsewhere that a supposition is being made that because a similar event was lined up for Rick, this means Francis is being "forced into" doing something he doesn't want to.
Perhaps because his solo tour was such a financial disaster last time, the record company can't justify another so are doing a book/album tour instead?

Considering they are now saying Rick hated Francis because Francis and Alan (considering the shit they threw at him over there) took the spotlight away from him, I'd tend not to read into what their views are.
As for this "speaking tour" Does anyone truly think he's going to be asked anything that could possibly paint him in a bad way?

As always, those particular opinions are only that, opinions, to be taken with a very large pinch of salt. If there's a book coming out it must have been in the works for a while. Any links to support the financial performance of the tour?

It was a radio interview Francis did. Doubt I'd be able to find it. He had to cancel later dates because of a hernia complaint. Ah, ok. My memory is that the official reason for the cancellation of some of the European dates on his album tour was so he could have a hernia operation. But there was much speculation on message boards that it was really due to poor ticket sales and this reason was a cover-up. I also remember that ticket prices were much higher for the European dates than the UK ones. I didn't hear or don't remember the interview that deepthroat is referring to but FR may well have also said ticket sales were poor too.

All Booked for Exeter next year...although I'm not bothered about seeing Quo (FRQ) again, I'm just what to hear it from FR's own mouth, if only to bring some closure ref: Rick and all things Frantic Four...if it get's mentioned of course
