There is a live recording with good quality from wembley 1988, this could be on the Complaining Deluxe Version. Personally I dont need it. Both Wembley gigs from 1988 were recorded and partially broadcast on radio... the 6th July sounds better than the 7th July IMO

it would been nice to have End Of The Road on the Back To Back album but it aint gonna happened. we probably gonna get demos for Marguerita and going down tonight and ol rag blues. alnernate versions of some songs. hope they release rock n roll floorboards on the in the army now album. hope they didnt release some poor live bootleg on the albums but it would been it if they do. the only thing that is funny with these deluxe cds exept if there are good material. is to read dave ling notes. but its boring that rick is dead now and there are no interviews with him on the notes. would been great to hear about the song To Close To The Ground which should be a single from the album but its got cancelled. and in one of the books with Status Quo Rick said about the song that it should be him who sing it but it turns out to be rossi. the only good song from that album but it would been great if there would be a version of the song where rick sing it

Does anybody actually buy these things other than collectors? They are far from necessary... we just don't need them, or want them
The only one that was worth anything was the RAOTW deluxe purely for the John Eden remix

It sounds so bad but I don't think anyone should be buying them from now on but collectors will at the end of the day... I don't normally endorse boycotting releases but these deluxe editions aren't needed I'll leave it at that.

Loafer Man made me giving up collecting... I wouldn't see a penny of my hard-earned money go his way. So, perhaps Alan and John have Pay-Pal?

So nobody buys these things apart from collectors, but they're still making a quick buck out of them?
It can't be both...

So nobody buys these things apart from collectors, but they're still making a quick buck out of them? It can't be both... Well it is easily earned money when youre just re-releasing something we already have and I don't see many people buying them and when people have it's mainly to add to their collection, so yes it can be both When the deluxe editions were originally announced with all this "bonus material" I was interested but when I listened to the said "bonus material" and heard that it was in fact bootleg audio, I was turned off, as many people were

I've seen them on sale in record shops. These are business people and physical items like CDs cost money to produce and distribute. So they won't take these decisions lightly.

Trust me, they have better options but they have chosen to go down the Deluxe Editions route and it's silly

Apart from the Piledriver 2CD that got to #90, none of the reissues have troubled the charts.
Given how laughable sales are nowadays, it's a wonder why they bother.
