Possibly the most half arsed version of this track you will ever hear.
In the key of A and Andy Bown on Acoustic for some reason? when he has always played keyboard on the track... and half of the solo

That thumbnail has to be a photoshop. No way Rossi gave that sign! He hates all that!!
Very meh version. Nowhere near the 89 version, which I really love, or the 84,82, 78 and even the 2001 versions

But yes it is a dire piss poor version of a track that was once the calm before the storm

Very lacklustre What a shame, those epic Dutch fans deserve so much more... Oh and Francis did the devil's horn thing on the Reunion tour as well. I think he does it to be sarcastic.

Sorry, bitter and twisted knee jerk reaction there. I know he used to like us... But even in the olden days the band were sometimes dismissive of the fans and had a name they used. Was it Billy or something like that?

Was it Billy or something like that? I've never understood that, what's it meant to be, "Billy the Kid", or something? But I don't think it was meant to be dismissive, it's just another Quo "you had to be there" type in-joke. Quite a lot of older musicians still refer to fans as "the kids", they haven't grown out of it. I don't know what the young folk do, they mostly just talk about "fans", I think, which is fine by me. Francis was usually good with fans, even when I was first a fan, which was long after the start. I never knew him to be other than decent with the fans, but I haven't seen him for many a long year, certainly not since they stopped playing Wembley Arena. He seems to have soured on the whole experience, as with a lot of things.

Will defend the man on this, he does care about us. He just doesn't want to do the music we want...Or, what the majority of us wants.
Seen him at a gig where, during his chat piece, he told off security for stopping people standing up. His words, "They paid money, they're here to enjoy themselves, they're not going to kill anyone so, do you mind?"
If he didn't care, he wouldn't do or say something like that

As for the 2006 version….half-hearted effort from all and Frame can’t even be bothered to finish the best bit of the solo….. When the band made an effort to do it properly, Frame's lead guitar tone didn't sound like a bag of nails/cheap student fuzz box, and you realised just how accomplished Rick’s rhythm playing was, you got this type of thing…
