Another song from Rick’s album was on AssumeThe Position last night.
See what you think

Well done DJ, talk all over your scoop. Knob.
It’s a nasty, compressed version, will sound better on the CD. I’ll need to give it a few listens to judge.

Why on earth are all these previews sounding so muddily and cheaply mixed, it makes no sense if you're trying to advertise a product not having the final mix out there. I like the song though and just hope for a much cleaner and sharper mix on the album.

I think the uploader recorded it onto an old C60 cassette he had lying around......he should have recorded it in Dobly.

Sadly you can't re-listen to past radio broadcasts... if you could, I'd go back and do a better job at ripping it than Traill did.

Oh for the days of home made mix tapes for the car - loved them!

What a dick talking over the guitar solo.... Anyway, probably my least favourite of the snippets I've heard so far. Tune sounds very 80s and the lyrics are a tad silly... I'll reserve full judgement til I've heard the album in full though!

I would need to hear a better version and although this may sound strange...but I hear both a bit of ZZ Top and Elo in it like they were around 1982-1983. And yes what a knob for talking through the solo...

The more bits and pieces I hear the more I’m looking forward to the album.
