I think I’ve seen some criticism of this track on here before.
Personally I think it’s a gem of a track.

Just got me ol' tele out from the case.... it's been ages, so I thought I'd go for a warm-up.... Never thought of this one before, but it sure rolls on...

Great track IMO and I enjoy playing along to it!
Been listening to the RTYD album quite a bit recently... quite the decent album compared to the one prior and the one after it.

There’s a lot of good stuff on RTYD. Take out some of the fillers and there’s a really good album there.

Something a bit Allman Brothers about this track for me, but that's my problem.

Wonder if Jenny Pitman was/is a fan.

I was sat round a table having dinner with Jenny Pitman and her then husband Richard about 40 years ago.
We talked about this and that and how much we all hated name-droppers!! She was careful not to reveal her obsession with Quo.
She wasn't well known by the public back then and it was Richard who was the household name. Funny how things work out.

Great track, but who fucked up the drums? Was it Francis again, going for the tinniest sound ever? Post Coghlan nothing sounded good.

Sounds rather like a band trying to impersonate Quo. However, not a band that has ever heard Quo, but a band that has only had Quo described to them. Hence it doesn't sound all that much like Quo. Tinny pop where there used to be oomph!

This, plus FR switching his pick-ups on his Tele, fucked up the overall sound on a decent batch of material here - Imo...
