Rleationships between fans and great bands depend a lot on the songs I think (unless they are just searching for image). Obiously a great band but after all the miffs about Quo and Country rock I'm a bit baffled here. Though I admit BS are better at it. The guitars are great, the vocal style less to my liking, but that's a personal thing. I've looked them up before and this is probably the reason I don't go back. Great commitment to hair. I can't decide whether Charlie Starr's monster sideboards are a serious style mistake or a stern assertion of his own indpendence. At least they more or less work in profile. An ancient hero of mine has sprouted fuzzy sideboards recently, and does he know what he looks like from the side? Farmer Giles and not in a good way ... One Horse Town genuinely moving, the story of dying towns and villages everywhere. I can see where you are aiming at here, Mrs F. BUT the countryfication of Quo is a Loafer-led compromise "coun-try" (what's a coun???) where the BS country is a bit rootsy and way much more.... country. Not that everything is good, but somehow they communicate a bit of roots and fun and "We don't give a damn"... Hmmmm.... just like a well-known band from UK, in the 70's... What was the name again....

And I really don't care very much what kind of shoes he wears. I recall my Mr getting points from some of the younger fans for wearing HiTops in the 80s when they were new and shiny. (But he did it because they supported his ankles, he had no idea they were cool.) Though I would think Francis was very cool if he wore wellies.

I am getting old ... that's just screaming out for the late, great Jack Bruce to be singing it.

This came on my ipod shuffle yesterday and I thought, "oh, is this country rock now?"

This guy always has neat footwear All he has to do is click his heels three times & say "there's no place like home".

Superb band. Not missed a gig they’ve played in Scotland Even used the wife and I’s silver wedding anniversary as an excuse to go see them in Berlin last year
