One thing which did puzzle me is when they did the re-release a few years ago of Live Alive Quo (2006) why did they change order of last 2 songs does not make much sense. RAOTW - Roadhouse Blues Medley Caroline as it was played on the day new release Caroline after RAOTW. I'm not sure but it was a ridiculous decision... hopefully it's sorted when and if it gets a Deluxe Edition Release. And to add to that, it annoys me how they messed with the Wembley 1990 recordings that are included on that release to make them sound as if they're from an open-air gig... completely ruined them tbh drowning the vocals with reverb and delay vomit_100_107 Live Alive could easily be expanded into a box set like Live! was. Full Wembley 1990, maybe add Glasgow 1989 & some other gig?

Why don't remix the 1977 Live album? They could take out all that macho roughness and bring up Andy Bowns' contribution to the show.Rossi could over dub the solo's with his trademark twiddle diddle and bend style. The drums could be softened and that rough nasty Lancaster bloke could be subtly rowed out. There's no point in putting all those long songs that go on and on.The remaining songs can then be cleaned up and speeded up a bit.

If it hadn't been released until 1991, would you call it the "1991 Live Album"?..... No. Didn't think so. "If it hadn't been released until 1991, would you call it the "1991 Live Album"?....." Yes Read more: statusquo.boards.net/thread/10005/knebworth-1990-live-alive-1992?page=2#ixzz5IL0mskXl

Can’t listen to that album sounds far too serious and rough. The crowd were clearly out of control too by the sounds of it.much prefer the Live at the Roundhouse lp you can hear the accordion and everything Cheers

I tend to go on release dates. That's fine with studio albums. They can take months to record. A live album is a recording of an event, which took place at a certain time and date, and therefore should be named after the time of recording, not the release date. Shall I just say from now on "Quo's 1976 Live album" or will you go on like you do about Celtic winning the 68 European Cup?

Seriously, I wouldn't mind a remix of the Live album. It could sound better. Deep Purple did it with Made in Japan. But of course nobody knows where the tapes are, Bob Young even admitted so in the liner notes!
