With Quo going thru the vaults releasing shows in deluxe editions of each album with live shows from that era what are the chances of actually getting a complete Knebworth 1990 live album release and maybe the whole performance on DVD???. Live Alive Quo will prob be a remaster release but would be nice if it was a Live Album & DVD performance release.
I know years ago they intended to Release Knebworth 90 but that got shelved at the last minute

They don't own the rights to the Knebworth gig sadly.
It was fully recorded and filmed. From what I've heard, it was probably peak Quo of the 90's. Great performance I thought

They would buy the rights for concert footage they don't own if there was still a market for DVD's but apparently there isn't... and that's why they've never bothered with the Midnight Special footage from America... they won't buy it because they know there is no profit in it.
There is a potential of a Live! compilation DVD so it would be like the "One and Only Status Quo" release we got in 2006 but nothing more than that which is a real shame really with all the live footage Quo have
I also understand the whole argument of "they still release live DVD's though" but that's because they KNOW people will buy it purely because it's a lineup they know and have seen live (I.e panto Quo, Rossi's Quo) and it probably won't cost as much to film and release a new gig whereas old footage would be the task of paying to remaster it and not knowing whether they will profit from it.
Live Alive Quo and Birmingham '89 would look amazing on BluRay purely because they were filmed in a way that they can be put into a 16:9 ratio, whereas other gigs would have to stay in the 4:3 format

A lot of the footage was transferred from the master tapes in 2004, '05 and '06 so they were in a digital format... for releases such as XS All Areas (Birmingham 1989), Party Ain't Over Yet Doc and the One and Only release that I've mentioned

The remaster Of LAQ will be at the correct speed the whole gig lasting 1 min 28 seconds Cheers I remember that gig. By the time most folk were taking their seats the band were playing the last bars of Bye Bye Johnny! Some people were still finishing their pints at the bar. Terrible value for money in those days.

On the day that sound just wasn't anywhere near loud enough Quo did perform well - but the reduced set was very much top 10 + medleys Even though I was there I don't think I'd watch it if it was released. Pink Floyd were excellent Peak 90's Quo for me was the RTYD tour, with an extended 4500x and a heavy loud sound

One thing which did puzzle me is when they did the re-release a few years ago of Live Alive Quo (2006) why did they change order of last 2 songs does not make much sense. RAOTW - Roadhouse Blues Medley Caroline as it was played on the day new release Caroline after RAOTW.

I'm not sure but it was a ridiculous decision... hopefully it's sorted when and if it gets a Deluxe Edition Release. And to add to that, it annoys me how they messed with the Wembley 1990 recordings that are included on that release to make them sound as if they're from an open-air gig... completely ruined them tbh drowning the vocals with reverb and delay vomit_100_107
